The LAB by Chiara Stefani

Here I am, back in my hometown, carrying suitcases filled with experiences, a new life, and new ideas.
The call of my roots was so strong that it could not be ignored. That is why I chose to return and give life to a new project—one that truly reflects who I am and feels closer to me than any other path I could have taken. This is how The Lab by Chiara Stefani was born.

The Lab is many things, and it will continue to evolve. First and foremost, it is my working studio: a place where ideas take shape and find their way onto canvas. It is a small space in the heart of Bassano del Grappa, an eclectic town with an exceptional artistic and international vitality, located at Via Vittorelli 25, Bassano del Grappa (VI), Italy. At the same time, it functions as an exhibition space and, in the future, aims to become a place of encounter and collaboration for artists who struggle to access an art world that often feels closed and monopolized.

Here, I have also joyfully resumed my work in art restoration, collaborating with antique dealers and collectors. The constant dialogue with ancient artworks deeply nourishes my practice and inspires the creation of new ones.
