What comes to mind when you think of both solidity and lightness? What image instantly appears? For me, ever since I first walked past the Winged Victory of Samothrace at the Louvre, her figure has embodied those very words.
This artwork is a tribute to that contrast—the weight and the lift, the grace and the grandeur, the courage and the fear. Then, one day, as my little one flipped through a Louvre magazine, his tiny finger landed right on her. In that instant, I saw only light, a head... and countless wings.
And so, here she is. I gave her back a head. But a single pair of wings was not enough.
